Who We Are
Embark on an interstellar journey with Spacejunk Mafia, an instrumental spacerock trio from Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Operating at the crossroads of psychedelic rock, stoner, doom and prog, the band is known for its dynamic loud-and-quiet approach, hypnotic grooves and expansive guitar soundscapes.
Formed by three friends who have known each other since high school, Spacejunk Mafia grew out of long jam sessions and a shared passion for heavy riffs and cosmic atmospheres. Their music unfolds like a cinematic journey, shifting seamlessly between mellow, spacey passages and powerful, fuzz-driven climaxes.
Their self-titled debut album, released in 2025, presents the band’s sound in full: tightly locked bass and drums, expressive guitar work and a strong sense of flow, where each track feels like part of a larger voyage through the galactic stoner universe.
